If you’re a collector looking for the MOST gorgeous plant to put in your high tech tank, look no further than Rotala Tulunadensis (AKA Rotala Tulu). This plant is incredibly tough to grow and demands a very consistent tank with high CO2 injection and very strong lighting (No, your hygger nicrew or fluval light won’t cut it) to survive. But when it survives, it’s one of the most beautiful plants in the hobby with huge light green leaves and crimson stems.
I keep my stock of Rotala Tulu in my display tank right when guests walk into my home, and I get loads of compliments on this plant in particular. It’s gorgeous.
