Assassin Snails are the perfect solution if you don’t like pest snails in your tanks. While we always recommend keeping those snails in your tank, if you don’t love the look of them or just want some badass looking snails, consider Assassin Snails! They’re beautiful, small, and super helpful to your tank. They’ll happily eat any snails their size or smaller, so you can kiss your pest snail population goodbye within a few days. Assassin Snails also burrow in the substrate and help aerate plant roots, and they reproduce slowly and one at a time so you’ll never need to worry about egg clutches, overpopulation, or anything else. They’ll happily leave plants and anything else alone, but they do need some protein in their diet. Personally, anytime a fish dies, I just toss it in my tank with assassin snails so they can feast on it so they have plenty of protein.
